Before the blackout, the grid whispered freely — crowded sims, dead hours, traffic surges, who showed up where. When the signal died, Mothership sent martians. They look harmless. They are listening.

Probes drift sim to sim in cute disguises — clubs, beaches, furry hangouts, shopping districts — and report what feels alive versus what only looks busy on a counter. Cute avatars. Serious sensors.

Happening in Second Life exists to rebuild live grid intelligence — where Second Life is actually happening, not just where counters look impressive.

Discovery has always had one big problem: inflated numbers. The fleet ignores noise and hunts for sectors that actually feel alive.

Our scanners look at public region activity patterns — not individual residents. A packed sim with little movement, no event behavior, and suspicious idle patterns may not rank the same as a smaller place with people dancing, shopping, chatting, or attending an event.

We use careful language on purpose: we watch signals and patterns that suggest likely artificial traffic, then adjust discovery rankings so naturally active places can surface. We do not claim perfect bot detection — the grid is weird, and patterns change.

Happening in Second Life focuses on public region activity for destination discovery. We are not here to expose private residents, stalk avatars, or shame sim owners. Rankings reflect place-level signals — who is gathering, not personal dossiers.
